After a hugely successful trip earlier this term to Leicester Curve with our Year 9 Drama students to see The Play That Goes Wrong, our Post 16 students wanted the opportunity to see the Mischief Theatre Masterpiece, too. We therefore organised a trip for them to see the production when it came to Sheffield on 13th July. The evening started with a meal at Cosmo first – something the students have been keen to do for a while – and then seeing the play, which was of course a master-class in farcical performance! It was an absolute pleasure to take our Post 16 students to see this production; not only did they conduct themselves brilliantly all evening, but they thoroughly enjoyed the performance and can’t wait to stage something of their own next term!

All in all, another huge success! Thank you to the staff who made the trip possible, to Sheffield Theatre for the exceptional value for money they offered us, and of course to the students who made the whole evening an enjoyable event. #LiveTheatreIsBack!
