Having assessed the school site and the condition of the surrounding roads, school will be closed today for all students and staff. This is not a decision that is taken lightly and is done to ensure the safety of everyone. We will be sending a separate email to the small number of P16 students who had an external exam today.
The following website can be used for all students in years 7 to 11 who are able to work https://www.thenational.academy/
If they are in years 7 – 8 choose KS3, in year 9 choose KS3 for English, maths and science and KS4 for their option subjects and in years 10 – 11 choose KS4. They can then choose the subjects according to their timetable for today. There may also be tasks previously set for homework on Show My Homework that can be completed.
Year 11 and P16 students will have revision and other tasks set previously by staff that they can complete.
