Following on from their victory back in September, our Uniformed Services team were today formally presented with the Desert Rats plaque in recognition of their winning performance at the inaugural Desert Rats Challenge competition at Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell.

They were truly worthy winners, having competed in a range of disciplines including reconnaissance, camouflage and concealment, orienteering, practical teamworking and problem solving and shooting on the indoor range. Presenting the plaque, Major Goodwin said, “They never faltered from the high standards of the school and those they set themselves – and for this they can be very proud and are worthy winners.”

The Year 13s and 14s also had a specialist input training session from the Royal Military Police following the presentation.
