There was delight at Ashfield School today as students received their GCSE results and reflected on all they have achieved during their time at the school. This year saw an increase in the number of students achieving top grades across all subjects, alongside many individual successes throughout the year group.

Among the many achievements being celebrated today, particular student successes include:

  • Isabella Watson achieved grade 9s across the board, with their option subjects being German, Geography and Computer Science. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Maths and Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Jesse Osima achieved nine grade 9’s across various subjects, including English, Maths, separate Sciences, History and Music. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Biology, Chemistry and PE.
  • Maisy Bell achieved Grade 9’s and 8’s across all ten GCSE subjects, including the separate sciences, Spanish and Drama. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Maths and Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Emma Ponichtera achieved grade 9’s and 8’s across all ten GCSE subjects including English, History and Religious Education. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study A-levels.
  • Ellie Warren achieved higher grades in all subjects, including grade 9’s in English literature, Geography and Business Studies. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry
  • Pele Myers achieved five grade 9’s, including Maths, Biology and Computer Science. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry
  • Jack Walker achieved higher grades across all subjects, including separate sciences and Maths, as well as a Distinction star in Hospitality and Catering. They are planning on continuing their education at Ashfield School Post-16 Centre to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry
