Ashfield School will be moving to a fully cashless system. From the first day back after the February half term—Monday 23rd February 2026—the dining room and Post 16 Centre will no longer accept cash.
The current revalve machines in the JLC will be removed and replaced with biometric balance checkers, which will allow students to check their account balance at any time or before proceeding to purchase food.
Most parents already use ParentPay to add funds to their child’s account, and from February this will be the required system for all parents and carers. If you do not yet have ParentPay login details, please email admin@ashfield.ttct.co.uk and login information will be provided. The ParentPay app is also available to download on mobile devices.
For parents and carers who do not have access to the internet or prefer not to use ParentPay, a PayPoint card can be requested. This allows you to top up your child’s account using cash or card at any PayPoint location, including many supermarkets, post offices, petrol stations, and local convenience stores. To request a PayPoint card, please email admin@ashfield.ttct.co.uk, and we will arrange one for you, for your child to collect from Student Services.
The Post 16 Centre will continue to accept card transactions.
